Doesn't even feel like it applys anymore. The stars came back.
String me together,
Find all my pieces,
Go get some glue,
Let's iron out my creases.

They're splintered and scattered,
I've looked far and wide,
Perhaps I was made to be broken,
Although it's nice to know we tried.

I can't tell you how I feel,
My emotions change too much,
They swirl and mix around,
And fragments I'm left to touch.

Weeks ago i would've said:
"I'm perfectly alright"
But now my faith has faded,
Like stars in morning light.

Like the stars it will return,
This I know for sure,
So will my broken pieces,
Come back one and all.

But its the middle parts that test me,
The middle parts that sting,
Those lonely insecure bits,
That tear at everything.

In those times I know nothing,
My head filled up with doubt,
I'm really truly scared then,
That things might not work out.

So string me together,
And find all my pieces,
I haven't answered anything,
But my thoughts this poem releases.
