I found this poem in my closet. I think I wrote it when I was in 6th grade.
The Shadow Man seeks.
Hatred and fury sound.
He preys on the weak.
Things break against the ground.
He takes them
From the inside out
Until they have no choice
But to scream and shout.
He laughes at their fighting
As the children lay in bed
The children hear, and they know
The Shadow Man is not dead.
