The piano, player's block, people who I wish I could play like and my jealousy of them
I sit and stare blankly
The black and white stares back
As if I should know every secret by heart-and I start
I wonder why bad comes from good or is it good from bad
Another falls through and I think of you
One is perfect, one still new
Just less than perfect is all I can do

Sitting again, no faces stare
This long lost affair with sounds of nothingness
Purity sings on gravity's wings
These keys may unwillingly open your eyes and find you in your head
