A poem I wrote coming out of a deep depression.
She can be your pain or your joy
The butterflies in your stomach
or, the hot knife in your back

However you will never know
from one day to the next
if you will bring smiles
or console her pain
Either way, you hope to take her breath away

Sometimes you may feel like
your heart physicaly stretches from your chest
Don't be alarmed
thats when your heart is working best

And when she comes near you
suddenly beams of light
cascade upon your once grey world
and a great gust of wind blows away the dust
as her cool touch heals your wounded soul

you might think
so this is what they call love
