This is a poem about a person who finds the sweet release that expression allows.
I lay and watch the stars that weep
beneath the midnight sky.
I wonder what it is to keep
a fully visioned eye.

I turn and toss in troubled sleep
release a subtle sigh.
I think of things both strong and deep
promising to try.

I love to let my sad heart leap
this I can't deny.
I'd let good feelings in me steep
until they truly fly.

I hope and trust my soul will reap
good things by asking why.
I know they say that talk is cheap
therefore, I'd rather CRY.
