That may be no secret,
But all through the day I get drivel
That become my little snippets.
It’s a habit so engrossing
Taking over my every moment
I fear there will be retribution this time
My notebook disappeared in the restroom
No trace found, no culprit for the crime
Just the glaring eyes of my coworkers…
And a pink slip from my boss.
