a simple poem that portrays an unfulfillable love.
I truly love the smile on your face.

It's a sight that makes my heart race.

But you disappeared from my life like a blink of an eye.

At that moment I felt I would die.

When I'm with someone else and not with you.

No words can describe the difference between the two.

Your like the silence in the noise that clears my mind.

The light in the darkness when I am blind.

So please stay close, come back, be always at my side.

You're just too perfect, too beautiful, too kind.

These feelings I have for you I just can't hide.

You're in my system, you've intoxicated my heart and mind.

I love you more that what my mouth can speak.

I love you more that what my pen can write.

You're the angel I gaze upon day and night.

But I know I'll never reach you even with all my might.

Despite me knowing this, I'll still try and try.

Hoping someday I'd learn to fly.

My feet are shaking. My hands are trembling.

My muscles are aching. My bones are crumbling

My sight's fading. I realize so on the cold ground I sit.

I ponder if we'll even be able to meet.

Tears soon fill my eyes cause now is see

We just weren't meant to be.
