I'm so scared.
I'm scared you'll see who I am,
That you'll see the mess.

Don't look that close.
Don't ask questions,
Don't get too close.

Just keep making me smile.
Keep making me laugh.
Keep being you.

Please be enamored.
Please call.
Please like me.

Let's be lovers.
Let's be friends
Let's hold hands.

But don't ask.
Don't ask about the scars.
Don't ask about the past.

Just make me laugh.
