Poem about the frustration of finding that even shared memories can vary between people
When I try to grasp a moment
of my vivid memories
When I share a little treasure
that never fails to bring me to my knees
I am fiercely contradicted
" I didn't happen like that.... at all"
I wonder who the hell I am
and if anything makes any sense ........at all

Through this journey I ask myself, "why?",
it is a journey, that I'm not sure I actually enjoy.
There are moments that I can safely say
"this is me, this is you and this is my day"
There are moments, hours, days and years wiped clean
I remember, they remember, no-one recalls
but they pull the images from thin air to prove it all
I am me. You are you and "we "are nothing but an illusion.
