Fall Poem

apple crisp and apple cider
oktober fest and beer
long country tree lined lanes
are a riot of color and deer

red and green and golden hued trees
are everywhere to see
they spread their carpet on the ground
just for you and me

i take a walk this autumn day
to see what i can see
it is as though a celebration
of all the world can be
