Silently stalking

She's getting nearer
He can smell her scent
The excitement mounting
He can almost feel the kill

She's closer now
His hair stands on end
She's rounding the corner
He makes his advance

Silently he creeps
Up on his prey
She cannot see him
Nor hear his steps

Suddenly he strikes
Embracing her in his arms
He can hear the blood pulsing
Through her veins

She looks up in disbelief
Horror and shock on her face
As she feels his teeth
Sink into her throat

As the hunter goes in for the kill

The burning spreads

Fear reigns in the victim
As the sensations cause fright
Yet excite at the same time

Strength growing
As it overrides the pain
New sensations emerge
Drawing new energy
Creating raw emotion

A thirst quickly develops
Getting stronger with
Every second, every minute
Engulfing and taking over
Is the lust for the kill

Sensations anew
Passion and lust rule
As the soulless creature
Emerges from its shell
Thirsting for the first hunt.
