not entirely sure if this is in fact a poem, but rather a leak of the mind.
like summer's child,
my feelings tumble and dance.
ignited by earth's heat & love,
there is little else as precious to me,
than the radiance of my summer child.

a fierce call,
beckons me to leave my child,
but i will not stir.
my feet are unshaken,
i will not be brought away.

nature has deprived me of what i am entitled,
and has given me something much more instead.
for more will come from my summer child,
than my blood child.
