While looking at my Celtic Church Bell, I wrote this.
God Sounds Like a Bell

I wear a necklace, but no one sees.

It has a plain, thin, silver chain link,

The pendent like very few.

Knotted in the formality of my ancestors,

The cross of the patron saint to which I was named,

It sings like the Biblical sister of Moses.

The high pitched chime only I can repeat,

Tingling, singing, twirling as I step,

Symphonic, simple, subtle.

Inside my open-bottom pendent is a tongue,

On the end of the tongue, enfinaty.

It speaks to me the wordless Language of Heaven,

With the reminders of God.

He’s with me, every step.

Wherever I go, He is with me,

And I know He is the Lord.
