A woman charming a 'snake'.
He’s drawn to me
My music is soothing
I look into his eyes
He looks into mine
When I move
He moves
He’s dangerous
I don’t care
He can’t hurt me
I can charm him

I play my music
He does his dance
People watch
Curious and tense
It’s just for show
A magic trick
I tease him a while
He thinks he likes it
I miss a note
It breaks the daze

He strikes
I dodge
He strikes again
I’m not fast enough
His bite stings
I can feel his poison
He slips away
I watch him go
The venom takes over
And the music is gone
