Short poem

Somthing short of what she had,
Something more than she deserves.
Put her up there, so far up there
To watch, to admire, to adore.

Not so perfect, soon he'll see.
To look inside is never nearly as pretty.

Something strange and fresh,
Something foreign to the touch.
It's feared that once familiar,
he wont dote on it so much.

Something she was always deprived of,
Something she could never quite fathom.
Other's make it seem so obvious,
The simple apparatus of love.

She does not wish to break it.
It was always her original sin.
She doesn't hope, but knows that
sooner or later, she will destroy him.
