a poem i wrote when i was feeling down and felt like i was slipping away from the world...
I feel the cold bare chain,
Wrapped around my sensitive flesh.
Tears fall from my eyes like a sad rainy day.
I feel the emptiness drawing me in.
Alone in this place, dark and gloomy.
Pitter patter of water falling around me.
I’m lying on my back but I’m not on the ground.
A stone table, chained down.
When I pull and tug trying to break free,
The chains cut deeper and deeper into me.
Red droplets fall from my cuts.
My blood rushing to my open bare wounds.
Unknowing of what to do, I lay and scream of how I hate you.
Someone save me, break me free.
This treatment torching my bare cold soul.
Losing hope and letting go of faith,
Giving up, and my mind wonders in space.
Laying here I take my last breath.
Goodbye cruel world, one I will never forget.
