fly, dream,
I lie against the stone hard ground and wonder why I can’t fly.
If I could fly, I’d fly far away, to a secret better place.
Where no one can hear my shy tears,
And no one sees me cry my dear.
To a place where I can be alone.
Peace at last is what I search.
My journey only beginning now.
My wings take flight and I soar in the skies.
Then when I get to that place,
I’ll awaken all my inside dreams.
I’ll awaken the secret inner me.
As dreams fly about and I dream out loud,
I’ll wake up to fine I’m at home.
Wakening up, to find I’m alone.
Waking up, and my wings are gone.
