A poem based off my regret.
Breath comes in a shallow gasp,
till morning she will not last.
My mind she haunts,
while freedom taunts
the yellow mother.

From reality I fled,
And things left unsaid.

But time flies,
no more forgiveness or goodbyes,
now in the ground she lies -
my yellow mother.
