A scream rips through the air.
My fear increases and I run faster.
The darkness seems to close in around me and I glimpse flashes of color in mirrors. The iridescent specks make me fear that my time may be over. Evil sounding chuckling and a pop make me scream.
I run out of the maze, finally, and into the moonlight. A red light blinks in front of me as what I have dreaded happens.
"Turn that frown upside down!" The painted smile and a balloon animal approach me.
This is why I hate clowns.
