Society will always have a name for you
We are born weak, unknowing of the world,
Grow into confusion, as we question our options,
We are released into freedom;
From the catapult of life we are from hurled

This world tries to shape us,
Build us to their ideals.
Only one type of person for each gender;
And then they destroy us when we throw a fuss.

This world takes us all as prisoners,
As victims in a supposedly pure world,
Fighting a war within ourselves.
Like fools, as if we are unknowing foreigners.

No one is left unharmed,
Tainted by the evils that surround us,
Force fed the lies from our superiors,
Our intuition screams of alarm.

We fight for our survival,
Every man for themselves,
Making sure we retain ourselves in such a lost world.
Welcome to real life, at such an untimely arrival.
