Silence is sometimes all anyone feels.
Alone
Silence creeps around me, I dare not move.
I hear whispers.
I stop.
I walk a little more, what am I doing?
Should I keep going? Should I go back?
It’s safe in my cave; it’s safe there.
I hear the leaves crinkle as if someone was walking behind me, that’s my feet. I’m not worried.
The wind blows my hair swiftly from my face chill bumps start to form.
I’m not myself anymore, I turn back.
Silence once again.
