A poem about an aunt that passed away.
It feels like just yesterday,
When I saw your face.
Smiling, laughing
All my worries faded away.

As I climb the mountain,
And try to get through the day.
I wonder what would have happened,
If you would have stayed.

But you're gone,
No longer here.
All I am left with is memories
That will soon disappear.
Its too long ago to remember,
But I can still picture you from that September.

I miss your face,
It's too bad the disease took you away.
We could have had forever,
If you would have stayed.
