Difficulty in seeing depression before someone commits suicide.
Depression is just so hard to see;

A malignancy upon the soul.

People may look but still cannot see

The pain within demanding its toll.

The outward smile, is only a mask

Designed to fool each person who asks.

Each day a struggle, from dawn to dusk,

Looking happy, a daunting task

Our favorite stars have gone away

No longer to share their talent here.

Burdens too heavy and in the way

To see through the muck and mire of fear.

Family members who sought this path

Deny us all of their loving ways.

To proud to ask, too scared to admit

The darkness within corrupts their days.

Look closely to those who have your heart

Pay attention to what’s said to you.

Let them know how important they are;

Return the love that they gave to you.
