Slowly watching yourself disappear.
You breath out into the cold air,
Watching the cloud form in front of you and disappear.
You blow out a candle,
Watching the fire extinguish and the smoke rise up and disappear.
You watch the seasons change,
Watching the snow melt into the hard ground and disappear.
You lose the people you love,
Watching their souls leave their bodies and disappear.
You live through the best days of your life,
Watching the memories slowly fade and disappear.
You see someone on the train you think you may love one day,
Watching them walk away and disappear.
You write a poem you think you want to show someone,
Watching the pieces being ripped up and disappear.
You saw a small yellow bird perched on your balcony,
Watching it fly away into the sky and disappear.
You find a place where you feel safe,
Watching it as your turn around and disappear.
You take another pill for your migraines,
Watching the empty bottle in your hands as the pain disappears.
You look at your reflection a few years later,
Watching yourself quickly disappear.
