A walk through sorting my emotions and ideas and making myself and my community better
POSSESSIONS

A force so hard to decipher

Feelings like that which possessed Lucifer

A desperate want, too sharp to ignore

Like the tempting lure of a snore

To own, the feeling of having it all,

To hold, the feeling of never letting go

To acquire and having everything

The feel of being in control

Alas! The force is too strong

To possess things of all such

Money, houses, cars, and jewelries

To bathe in the feel of all fineries

Possessing without letting go

Amidst the feel of not having it long ago

MISSING SHADOWS

He promises me his forever,

He praises me an encouraged me,

He says “your eyes are butterfly blue”

He calls me his one and only.

He whispers words of pleasure into my ear

And holds me tenderly to his side

He goes on a trip, and promises to to come back

Promises to write and call me

I kiss him goodbye with tears in my eyes

I place his picture beside my bedside

For twelve miserable years

I have been gazing at his picture

No notes, no calls

Nothing!! Oh nothing!!

Then he comes back

Alas! With another

And he tells me

“I am sorry it just couldn’t work”

So I have wasted part of my life

Missing shadows

Missing a person that will never be mine
