18+ He stands against all that he feels, all those unlike him, all those of fate and faith

In this kingdom
Sanity turned semblance
Recognition via wickedness
Stands an obligatory being
Shrouded in his blackness
He, a true warrior
Of absolute sadness
Holds life
In one hand
And his other
He grips death
Above his head
Circles those released
Down at his feet
Rot those deceased
Many
Have been placed
By him and his ways
Such sins
His
Are like immovable stones
That he at some point
Must find a way to carry
He will have no choice
Not a one
The weight
Will be crushing
So should it be
Thus
Becoming the crux
Of further suffering
He knows nothing
Of what to do
His fate has been sealed
Dealt long before now
Christened by God above
As what is so wrong
With the most
Human of beings
In between is his place
His universe of truth
In a kingdom of lies
He has built
Everything seen
He has dismantled
Anything believed
He
The man of such concern
Is very much alone
With no other
Since the day of his creation
Since the day of his birth
Fate is capable of great cruelty
Emotionally he is wrecked
He cannot bring himself to dare
He will risk nothing
Because that’s all that he owns
All that to him belongs
There is no love
There is no life
There is nothing
As he himself defines it
In this kingdom
Nothing
Matches his wisdom
Nothing
Challenges his madness
In this wilderness
He is free to do
And act as he sees fit
There are no rules
Just brutal truths
Brought on
By his actions
Or lack thereof
His skin
Palish blue
His eyes
Dark
Right on through
His heart
Colder still
His mind
Wickedly obtuse
As he lives
He does what he can
He wants his life
To have been meant
He wants meaning
More than any reason
He once asked God
Define thy purpose
There was no answer
So he alone
Took things in his own hands
He shattered his destiny
Or so he believes
All the while
Betraying his faith
He became a deity
Unto himself
He wielded his weapons
Killing those
Of a different perspective
He took what they loved
And replaced it
With one they feared
He taught them to obey
Through terror and violence
And when they stood up
He mowed them down
When they challenged his will
He made them pay hell
He beat them to death
With his brutal hands
With his heavy heart
And overburdened mind
In this kingdom
The only way to manage
Is to become lesser the victim
And more of the victimizer
He knows that well
But such knowledge
He has refused to share
With those he calls “them”
The ones who won’t listen
The ones that as he sees it
Are sadly mistaken
In this kingdom
He is his own God
Well sort of…
