A fantasy being leads a life of adventure
Written for the August 13, 2016 "Stormy's poetry newsletter & contest"  Prompt: grey sands crisp silver willow adventure rolling hills

Rolling hills of silver sands
Blaze the trail ahead of him.
His golden ears piqued forward
With adventure flowing in his veins.
The grey leaves of the of the willow
Scent the air, drawing him crisply toward
His objective. He knows not where he’s
Going or why, only that he’s going—no
Matter the cost of his life of travels.
