"How long is this going to take?" 

"But Seriously, How long is this going to take before I'm over him?"



"Your asking me? I've never even been in a relationship. How would I know? Considering it was your first relationship after coming out and you are only sixteen, maybe it won't take that long. I mean really how serious were you guys. You only dated for three months."



"Yeah, but I really liked him. I thought he might be the one."



"The one. Like marriage?"

"Oh, TMI. I don't want to hear about your love life. Do you even know how to do that sort of thing?"



"You mean sex?"



"Shut up, someone might hear you. Just because you came out doesn't mean I want you flaunting you sexual preference in public".



"You're so immature. Get over yourself. If you would ask a guy out we could double date. It would be fun since your my best friend and we already do almost everything together."



"Well, first of all I'm a girl and contrary to what you think its still traditional for the guy to ask the girl out and so far I'm not getting any nibbles. Anyway your not dating right now either."



"If you would put on some make up and wear your hair in a more attractive style you might get a nibble. you might even get a bite".



So now I'm suppose to take makeup tips from a gay guy? Wait that's exactly what I should do!"



" Huh?"



"Yeah, you show me what to do and if I get a date I will help you find your special guy. Its a win, win situation. I finally get a date and you get your dreamboat, maybe."



"You really think we could pull it off?"



"Why not, nothing else seems to be working at the moment. What do we have to lose. If this works out we will go on that double date your so keen on."



Next day after school Jake arrives at Christy's front door and rings the door bell. Christy opens the door.

Christy "Well it's time to do your magic, show me how your gay eye thinks I should look."



Jake "Don't worry when I finish with you, guys will be begging to take you on a date."



Christy "If you make me look cheap I will beat you up and you know I can do it!"



Jake "Don't worry I got this!"



Two weeks later...



Christy approaches Jake in the hallway at school.



Christy "Jake I wanted to introduce you to my date. We are going to the movies on Saturday. Jake this is Todd and Jake this is his twin brother Terry and Terry thinks your are cute. He thought you might want to tag along with us to the movies on Saturday."



Jake "All I have to say Christy, is this could be the one!"
