No longer under Rachel and instead under arrest, will the authorities listen to Sebastian?
Chapter 6 - Winner Takes All

Waiting with bated breath, Sebastian did not receive a visit from Rachel or the police officers after they finished their meeting. Realising that it was after 3am in the morning - and that he was beyond tired - he was next confronted with the police psychologist, a middle-aged woman who wore her blonde hair in a tight bun. She also wore a rather disgusted expression on her face. Feeling beyond stressed, plus still a bit drunk at this point, her line of enquiry did not help one bit...

Tilting her head to the side, she considered him, as if he were some sort of interesting experiment. "Hello, my name is Dr. Bauer. Why are you looking so tense?"

"Tense?" Sebastian narrowed his eyes as he felt his defensiveness taking over. "Why on Earth would I be tense... I've a restraining order placed on me partly for something I didn't even do-"

"Are you scared, Sebastian?" She interrupted him, tapping her red fingernails on the table.

"No, I'm not scared easily. Why is that even important?" He was getting confused, especially after she informed him that the correct answer was 'yes', and he wasn't speaking truthfully. This stilted conversation continued like this, until Dr. Bauer concluded that he must attend the Vienna Mental Health Clinic (VMHC) for further evaluation.

"Further evaluation...?! But... but you haven't even spoken to me properly..." Sebastian couldn't believe this was happening, yet he was cooperative as the same two police officers from before escorted him to the clinic. Perhaps, if he just followed orders, then he would get out of this soon, surely - that was his logic. He was thankful that earlier that evening, at least he'd been allowed to pick up some essentials from his dorm. He was given just enough time to chuck in some sweatpants, a hoodie, toothbrush and a couple of other things into a rucksack. So it was like going on holiday in the very early hours of the morning, only with vastly different circumstances.

By the time Sebastian arrived to the VMHC, it was nearly 5am, meaning he hadn't slept for approximately 21 hours at this point. To say he was sleep-deprived was a huge understatement! His lids were heavy and eyes felt red raw, some of the alcohol still in his system, but worst of all it was that uneasy, almost inevitable feeling of things going from bad to worse.

The meeting with several different doctors at the clinic made Dr. Bauer look like a fluffy teddy bear in comparison; they were openly hostile towards him, talking to him as though he were a wild animal that needed serious taming. Sebastian was taken aback when they read from their notes, quoting the very private issues that he had confided to Rachel. Details about his emotions and mental state, including before coming to Vienna, that was assured at the time would never be repeated. Sebastian felt himself fixing his gaze on the window behind them and it took a concerted effort not to add to their already comprehensive list from Rachel. The personal details then started to become fabrications, which he stayed in stunned silence at.

"So it appears you've been planning to kill people, hmm? Inspired by certain films, such as 'The House That Jack Built'. Interesting..." the balding doctor told him, a hard-to-read expression on his blank face. "With specific intentions to cause suffering to your own mother, wishing to see her cry and cause harm to her..."

The female doctor next to him shook her said from side-to-side as she adjusted her glasses, practically glaring at him as her dark eyes bore into him. The third one, a younger man with curly auburn hair, just seemed to be typing out everything onto his laptop.

"...and the promises and threats of violence don't stop there, apparently. Intentions to kill the victim - Rachel - just to prevent her from seeking relations with other potential partners..." continued the balding doctor.

Sebastian nearly gasped aloud at this. This, as with the other comments, was not true! Of course his so-called plans and intentions to kill people, or hurt his mother were utter bollocks. Rachel's bare-faced lies! This last thing that the doctor said was based in truth but it was totally twisted. Yes, he'd told Rachel that the idea of either of them finding someone else was sad, as all that time they had spent together would've gone to waste... and that not having deep feelings for one other was for the best, long-term, as those who were 'mad' about each other, did 'mad' things!

The female doctor with the dark eyes took over. Her long, black hair and pale complexion gave her as slightly gothic aura. "Again and again, it is very clear to us from this statement, that you are a sadist. You seek to cause pain on other people and get some sort of... morbid fascination from it..." Her nostrils flared at this. "So, let me ask you, you said you wanted to 'kill people to become famous as a serial killer'. What do you have to say about that?"

He very nearly let out a laugh, shocked at her words, but composed himself. "I don't want anything like that," He told the doctors firmly, feeling their harsh stares burning into him. "I never even said or thought that, it is NOT true."

"Do you ever have paranoid thoughts or feel easily threatened?" She continued, her dark eyes again boring into him, fluttering her long eyelashes.

Sebastian was struggling to keep patient, and afterwards he wished he had been more amenable. "No. I'm usually pretty confident and don't easily feel threatened by anyone." Folding his arms and fixing her with a look, he waited to see what she would say to that.

She seemed surprised at this, her nose twitching as she adjusted her glasses, asking if he felt threatened by her. Well, of course he did... if they were having him locked up, he had every reason to feel this way! The three professionals exchanged a look at one another, the younger, curly-haired one typing away furiously. This line of enquiry continued for some time, until the female doctor got back to Rachel's claims against him.

"Sebastian," she stated, with pretty much a sneer on her admittedly pretty face. "This is giving us a clearer picture. We are gaining a firmer understanding of your motivations and... obvious issues that you have. Then this will help you, and help us arrive at the correct course of action."

It was no use. Despite his protestations, the doctors simply did not believe him. The balding doctor seemed the more sympathetic, compared to the dark-haired one, but even he seemed completely against Sebastian, more gently urging him to confess and admit that he believed all of the bullshit that Rachel had laid out. The female doctor became increasingly impatient, checking her watch, rolling her eyes as she let out a long sigh, until she called it time.

"Enough. You have been given ample opportunity to acquiesce with the allegations that have been soundly made against you. You leave us with no alternative but to keep you here for the foreseeable future, until we have sufficient evidence to map out the subsequent steps." She spoke pompously, standing up without giving him another look while her colleagues followed.

It was clearly light outside at this point and he was desperate to sleep but his mind was all over the place. The medication (Risperidone) that was prescribed was all a bit of a blur. In tablet form, he refused it, however it was promptly injected into his veins - just another indignity he had to suffer. Although it did get him to sleep, after what seemed like moments later, he was forced into more meetings and conversations with other doctors and trained specialists. During this time at the VMHC Sebastian was kept in the 'closed off' station, which meant he was in a small hallway, with no escaping from this area allowed. It was such a degrading experience as the days began to trickle by, the medication seemed to numb his thoughts and dull his senses. At least the other patients seemed to be like him, in that they were not 'crazy', just not quite with it, probably dosed up like he was. Being told regularly that he was 'mentally unwell' was demeaning and humiliating. Every few days, there were more interrogations, sometimes with the black-haired female doctor present, who seemed increasingly smug and domineering, with the more docile and passive he became. Perhaps she thought he was submitting but in truth, he was tired of fighting and was just desperate to get out of there.

No-one believed a word he said. It was all Rachel's word against his, and everyone believed Rachel.

Things were about to get worse from there, however. He received an email (there was limited access to any sort of communication) from the University of Vienna, explaining to him that he had to leave his dorm in House B in just a few days time, before the end of March. Essentially, this meant he was kicked out and could not live there anymore. The home he'd lived in for over half a year! As well as this, he found out that Rachel had extended the restraining order until July... around four more months from now. Perhaps this was because she was scared Sebastian would seek out revenge... or it could just be further salt to the wound, a way to drill home even harder how much she had destroyed him. So he was at least able to appeal the restraining order extension, which would make it at the beginning of April, two days after he'd be released from hospital. Also, this was after Easter... basically, it meant that without anyone working there, his appeal would have to wait until April, just to be seen. The advice from a clinic lawyer was useless - apparently it wasn't his 'area' and that he'd be better off speaking to the police.

With no real other options, Sebastian took this advice and went directly to the police, the day he was released from the VMHC... in total he had been there for sixteen full days. This was an inordinately huge amount of time, considering (he found out later) that at least half of the patients in the closed-off area where he was, would be there for no more than five. Anyway, it was a fruitless task going to the police - this was his first opportunity to press charges on Rachel. To think of the number of times she had hit him - and not in a consensual, sexual way, but flat-out attempts to hurt him - the times she had tried to punch him, kick him, hurt him in various ways. Initially, he did have some hope here - one of the officers seemed sympathetic (a rather gormless looking guy). It was almost as if Sebastian were an inconvenience - the officer's colleague, a harsh-looking woman in her mid-30s made a big show of reluctantly taking down Mark and Hugo's phone numbers and addresses - the two witnesses he did have, after the time Rachel had slapped him in the face, four times, however many weeks ago that was. Still, he sensed no-one was really on his side.

Once again, everything seemed to be going against Sebastian. His appeal for Rachel extending the restraining order was not something they could just deal with - he would have to go to court. Of course, this wasn't possible as it would take time to make an appointment and before that, he needed to clear out everything from the dorm room, then attend a "violence prevention talk". That was a load of nonsense, and not even the old guy running it could practically help him, after Sebastian outlined to him what his ex girlfriend had done. Essentially, Rachel won. The restraining order was extended and Sebastian was powerless to stop her. Just something else that she managed to get over him. All of those lies... all the bullshit she had made up was now taken as gospel and he could not contend a single word of it. All he could do was wait for the charges against him to be dropped, whilst the battery charges he wanted to press against her were meaningless without evidence. Everything about the situation was so unfair, so wrong. She had been able to press charges with NO evidence in regards to the so-called choking. He, on the other hand, could not claim anything at all without specific evidence. On top of all that, Sebastian had lost financially as well. It had set him back some €400 for staying in hotels - he had nowhere to live after being kicked out of his dorm, while he was trying to rightly press charges against Rachel, as well as train journeys. Along with that, his own personal items that he wasn't able to fit in his suitcase. Not just a financial cost but the emotional aspect to this as well. Yes, Rachel had taken it all from him. As the winner, she had taken everything.

The time in the VMHC lingered with him afterwards and he knew it would take a long time to properly get over it. Living back at his hometown in Germany, with his mother, Sebastian felt broken and defeated. She of course needed to know the key details and was supportive of him, especially because she got to hear his side of it, NOT Rachel's! Still, every morning he woke up with a feeling of humiliation swirling inside of him. And not in a good way!

The credits he'd gained in the most recent semester at the University of Vienna weren't sufficient to continue his course, so he knew then that the past six months were ultimately futile and he'd have to start a new course. Worst of all, he'd been banned from moving to another dorm - the same organisation that owned House A and House B in Vienna is such a prominent one that there is no option for that. Moving back to his family home was comforting and familiar in some ways, at least, though it was most definitely a huge step backwards. He was in touch with Aleks and several others from the dorm, all concerned about him though he genuinely wasn't sure who Rachel had been in the ear of and turned against him. Rachel was so popular and it was a hopeless battle to expect people to be on his side. Even with Aleks, he found it painful to message, any news about Vienna a painful reminder of what he had lost.

Weeks began to trickle by and Sebastian soon settled into a routine of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, with some part-time security work. It was keeping him fairly busy but of course he couldn't just shake away the events from March and April. It was when he was browsing on Instagram (he rarely used it - mostly for following Jiu-Jitsu fighters and picking up on training techniques) and saw a photo of Rachel and Frieda.

Rachel and Frieda, arms wrapped around one another, both looking very happy.

It was not on Rachel's account as she had blocked him weeks ago, back when it all kicked off in mid-March. No this was on Mark's account... He was a mutual friend of theirs, of course...

Alone in his room at night, Sebastian let out a soft moan of despair and found himself jerking off. Masturbating to the woman who had destroyed him (his ex-girlfriend) and the woman who he would do anything for. It didn't take him long to climax - Rachel's smug face soon brought back memories of her rubbing her bare, or pantyhose-clad feet in his face, her huge, juicy ass descending on his eager face... He imagined Frieda doing the same to him... those flawless, perfect meaty bare soles...

After he ejaculated, he felt thoroughly beaten and ashamed. It was the first time he'd pleasured himself while thinking of Rachel for a while. It just cemented her victory over him, the fact that he was fantasising about her and his crush, even though she'd destroyed him in every way imaginable, was rather mortifying. Physically, verbally, mentally, financially... it was the ultimate domination and for a few moments he felt impressed, almost in awe of it. She had taken his pride and he was actually choosing to humiliate himself this way!

Going back to Mark's post, after cleaning himself up, he tried following Frieda on Instagram, not expecting her to accept it. No doubt, Rachel had poisoned her mind against him. Frieda was, after all, one of the 'two independent' witnesses, along with Heather the evening that he pushed her in the chest. Then again, any opportunity to see more photos of Frieda, and directly from her rather than the occasional one from a mutual friend like Mark, was worth trying. Perhaps she would show her bare feet in some of them! He saw Heather come up as a suggested friend, but at least had the dignity in him to not request her as a friend. She had always hated him after all.

Sebastian. I wasn't expecting to hear from you. I know that things went.... well they didn't go well. Anyway, I hope that you are doing OK.

It was Frieda! She had accepted his follow request, had asked to follow him in return, (not that he ever really used his Instagram) and had messaged him! Clicking on her profile, he nearly salivated at the photos of her. God, she was so gorgeous. That wavy, dirty blonde hair around her beautiful face... Unfortunately there were no lower body shots, nor any of her amazing feet.

So it was after several more polite messages exchanged between them, over the next week, that he took a chance...

Frieda, Do you remember our conversation about feet pics...?Just wondering if you were interested in sending any...

For hours and hours that day, he was constantly checking his phone for her reply. After nothing by the evening, he was afraid he'd gone too far. By the time he'd finished some security shift work late into the night, and accepting that he'd probably pushed Frieda away for good, he started to type a new message, claiming that the previous one was just a joke. Maybe she would laugh it off....but then a message from her suddenly appeared!

Oh, I remember that conversation. I also remember that we both thought €50 was a fair price. Didn't we... dog?

Sebastian let out a soft whimper. Closing his eyes in defeat, he knew that he was beaten. €50... for a mere photo... but of the most delicious and perfect-looking feet he had ever seen in his life? If he accepted this latest humiliation, then there was no going back and confirmation that Frieda was never going to take him seriously...

Should he try to negotiate? Was he going to surrender so meekly? He took a breath as he decided on his reply...
