You are afflicted with a shrinking condition and assigned to a caretaker.

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
Years ago a mysterious condition started affecting the world’s population which caused people to shrink down to a few inches in height. No one could ever figure out the nature of this or the seemingly random way it spread throughout the world’s population, but it was eventually discovered that the affliction was not contagious. With this discovery, the afflicted tiny population would be assigned normal sized caretakers to help them survive in the now much bigger world.
The intention of this caretaker program was to vet potential candidates so that the helpless tiny people would be in safe hands away from those who would abuse the power imbalance, but unfortunately most of those left in charge did not really care too much, and would more or less hand people off to anyone who offered.

Now you find yourself in one of their facilities awaiting to see what kind of person you will be assigned to.


Rules:
1. Keep the story in English.
2. Chapters should be a minimum of either 300 words or 3 paragraphs long. While some shorter chapters are unavoidable, I will delete if they get out of hand.
3. Refrain from assigning the main character a name. Make use of second person pronouns (you) and things like “(your name)” or “(y/n)” to refer to them.
4. The giant can be any gender. Male, female, trans, and anything else.
5. Please try to refrain from ending the story early. No one benefits from “you get squished and die.” Near the start of the story.
