Rhyming poem written for a contest about life.
Years fly by with barely a thought,
Which matters most - what you bought or taught?
For you are your months marked by pain,
Perhaps waiting for your love to return again?
Or maybe each moment is precious to you,
Wonderful memories recorded with glue.
Do you measure the hours in joy or strife?
So how will your children remember your life?
