Always say what you mean and mean what you say.
Mom

I cried when i was a child,
from a cut or bruise and even a dream
and you would come to me like a super hero
and no matter imagination or reality, you'd rescue me.
I grow up too fast as a teen,
Didn't listen because i thought you
above all people couldn't really see me.
And yet I was fooled,
You are the only one who sees the real me.
And now i'm older,
although by admisson, no wiser.
As a woman, I cry.
(and your child comes looking for you)
As a person, I make mistakes.
(as your daughter needs your guidence)
As your daughter, I am me.
(how do I thank you for that)
I love you momma.
