This is a poem about my grandma and when she got sick.
Lost.
I don't know what to do.
Where am I to go?
Why did Great-Grandma have to die?

Mother told me Grandma's cancer had spread.
It scared me,
I was lost in a big white nowhere.

They told her she wouldn’t live another year.
The lost feeling seemed to grow.
I had nowhere to go.

I couldn’t hide,
I couldn’t even run.
I am scared and lost.
I know not where to go.

If every time I feel it,
I just give in.
It would be to go nowhere.

I would be nowhere.
Nowhere but lost.
