Lover willing to reconcile with the beloved's unfaithfulness
VACILLATION

Why are you so sad my love?
Why are you so repentant?
Why are you feeling ashamed?
Why are you so hesitant?

It is true that you have strayed,
Tasted the forbidden fruit.
Why a single step wayward
Has today made you so mute?

Open up and come nigh me.
Don’t feel so suffocated.
Come let us talk out our hearts.
Let all doubts be placated.

Why blame you because you had
For another, attraction,
Or because you had not been
Able to restrain passion?

Maybe you tried but it was
Just impossible for you
To help yourself while you slipped
Though you made all efforts true.

Maybe I should blame myself;
I may not have what you seek.
Maybe you still do love me
And this incident was freak.

Come my love and let me say
This to you quite sincerely:
You are for me till today,
My same sweetheart, so lovely.

Come nigh me and let me know
If, truly, you love me too.
If not, then, why vacillate?
From this bondage, I free you.
