When your past keeps on haunting you, do you still have teh will to move on?
Changing Tides

The first glimpse of dawn
Was my changing tides
And I packed up the past
Let the waves drift it away

It was a long and devastating dream
That I’ve finally awaken from
But those voices keep on haunting me
I’m living in nightmare

Splattered on my palm were traces of blood
Embed on my skin were scars galore
They were only a fragment of my imagination
Yet these illusions seemed too real
How could my eyes deceive me?

Though time helped me forget
It couldn’t heal my wound
The path ahead was dimmed with darkness
But I had to keep on walking
Like a pilgrim looking for salvation

It was a long and exhausting journey
That I’ve finally freed from
Though twists and turns might still be waiting ahead
I’m not lost anymore

The first glimpse of dusk
Was my wheel of destiny
And here I am, waiting for tomorrow
Cause I’ve survived through today
