I was originally trying to write a song but this is as far as it got...
Perfect Pain

Before I go,
Crimson rivers pour.
Sweet pain, sweet release,
Pounding in my head.
Sickness spilling through my veins.
Blade tears a poisoned ribbon.
My despair puddling,
Congealing on the ground.

Find me to late.
Don't save me now.
In my fatal sleep,
I am finally free.

Tears,
Coursing like a flood,
Mingle with the gore.
The laughing darkness calls.
It is waiting.
I slip into the void,
Whispering.
And take back everything I've ever said.

Find me too late.
Don’t save me now.
In my fatal sleep,
I am finally free.

Turn your head.
Just look away once more.
Spill crocodilian teardrops,
Over my imperfect pain.
Taking the hand of Immortal Desire,
I have flown to the howling abyss.
Lost in my baneful nightmare,
I drift alone.

Find me too late.
Don’t save me now.
In my fatal sleep,
I am finally free
