-about a girl...(what else?)
We had plans to get together,
So I didn't drink the night before.
I was with the guys that evening,
But that's what friends are for.

You were in my thoughts that night,
As the boys passed around 151.
All I could think of--was us together,
I couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come.

So the next day came,
I’ve never had so much fun.
God, you were incredible,
I had no doubt you were the one.

After that day together,
We smiled at each other in the hall,
Now I can willingly admit I love you,
With no problem at all.

But then I walked up to you,
And you walked away from me,
As if everything you hated,
I was the epitome.

I try to get your attention,
But still I have no success.
My love for you will never end,
But it's becoming harder to express.

I have tried my hardest,
Done all that I could do.
I wrote a letter, I gave a call,
But not once got through to you.

Now I sit with a bottle of Grey Goose,
I fill a glass, and I raise it high.
This one goes to our relationship,
The one I thought would never die.
