Lost love saying good-by
Was on a cold winter night, on the outskirts of town
As I looked out the window, at the snow covered ground
The howling of the wind, was all I wanted to hear
Knowing the thoughts that hurt so much, would soon re-appear

The thoughts of a girl, pressed deep on my mind
Her smile, her eyes, her hair - how it’d shine
To remember her watching the moonlight each night
And the time that she kissed me by the stream in the moonlight

Watching the light on the water painting pictures of the skies
Lying there talking and dreaming, with love in our eyes
And the memories of holding her, day after day
And the memory of the night, she was taken away

As I looked out the window not believing my eyes
In the reflection she stood there, saying good-bye
Her smile, her eyes, her hair - how it’d shine
The thoughts of a girl, pressed deep on my mind

With tears in my eyes I woke from this thought
And knowing I love. I’ll miss her a lot
Her smile, her eyes, her hair - how it’d shine
The thoughts of a girl, pressed deep on my mind
