This is a poem. not a very good one.
Darkness swallows all

My soul sings,
The bells ring,
And angels get their wings.

The men do scream,
The children dream,
And the learned ask what it means

Time marches on,
The dead are gone,
And we’re alone from this point on.

And Darkness swallows all.
