"The Humorous Poetry Contest" - November 2023

People didn't understand
Why Chester was in such demand.
He cried his heart out, when he
Began to believe in doubt,
What this was all about.

It was quite contrary that Chester
Had an imaginary friend,
Lester, who he would talk to non-stop.
Chester didn't have any friends.

People would stare with an
Insurmountable glare.
He felt relieved from resolving the
Madness that his problems created.
Chester didn't have any friends
