Our frustration lies in their lack of toughness and resolve - a rhyming poem.
Can’t expect more, but won’t survive less -
But whether they want to is anyone’s guess.
Let them get numb, and battle the stress -
Each individual goes through a mess.

A means to an end, such elegant truth -
The cards stacked against them, flailing, uncouth…
A system to teach these haphazard youth -
An energized purpose, a changing phone booth!

A theory of galling distress, supplemental -
The state of our union - tease environmental…
Congressional acts must seem elemental.
The end of our journeys, avoid existential…

Already quite bankrupt, too anxious to borrow;
These infinite straits, a dire tomorrow -
We might not procure a vehement swallow;
The joy we could use, they bring us, we follow.
