A little boy saves the world from alien beings and robots on the moon
Tommy took control of the spaceship
Just as it landed on the moon.
Aliens dressed in silvery robes
Looked like robots except---
Tiny feet could be seen peeking
Out in the moondust that had
Housed such famous people as
Armstrong in the long forgotten1969

Tommy knew just what to do
To escape a takeover by the beings--
He must fight and clobber to the death
These formidable fiends.
They mustn't be allowed to win
Or humanity to fall--
Annihilation was the only answer
Suitable for Tommy's fears.

Tommy first attacked the robot,
Which tumbled to the ground.
Out of commission was the only sign
That in the end could be found.
Next, he used a laser to beam
Those aliens up into the galaxy,
Before returning to his spaceship,
Triumphantly declaring victory.

Upon his return he found a party
In his honor was being held--
And his sister, Ann Marie, stood by
His side and held his hand,
Igniting a storm of chaotic emotions
As Tommy looked out at his friends,
Glad that he had saved them
From a death so narrowly missed.

Tommy couldn't wait to tell
His mother of his adventures,
Knowing she'd be so proud and
Reward him with milk and cookies,
