Letter from the editor

worldly unconditional Love

Mostly, when we think about romance the first thing that comes into our mind is romance is for couple,
two people in love with each other are the main characters we use in our love stories.

There are also other kinds of earthly love that reflect and prove that love exists.
It can be platonic love between friends, love within the circle of our family- siblings. father and to our mother- the second form of unconditional love, the highest is the Love of God to mankind.

I read a beautiful story in the Bible that reflects a mother who can do everything for her little one.
And our Lord Jesus acknowledged her as one who has a Great Faith.
(Matthew 15:21–2)

The woman is a Canaanite and a mother of a child who was possessed by an unclean spirit.
During the time of Jesus residing here on earth, possessing of an unclean spirit to humans was just common, because our Lord Jesus Christ had not yet sacrificed at the cross to conquer them.
We are lucky today because of His finished work, an unclean spirit can not possess us as easily as before.

So, the Canaanite woman asked the Lord Jesus to help her, to help the woman's child,
but our Lord Jesus didn't give immediately her request,
because she is a Canaanite woman- she does not belong to the intended people whom the Lord will rescue/save or in other words she is not an Israel.
But the woman didn't give up,
what makes her to bear all things so that her request will be granted

because she is a mother.

Nothing beats the true love of a mother for her child, because she would do everything for the sake of her little one,
She can bear the struggle, failure, disappointment, or any rejection for the sake of her child.

And I believe that the Canaanite woman knew whom she was asking,
she knew that Jesus would help and granted her request because the woman knew the personality and naturalism of Jesus.
The woman doesn't ask for help if she knows that her request will not be granted.

Sadly there are some today, that there are still mother who can neglect, torture, and even abandon their helpless child,
knowing that our Lord Jesus already Finished His work at the cross so that the Holy Spirit can already be within each of us, to guide us to do right deeds.
There are still mothers today who still prefer to listen to the voice of the enemy or unclean spirit that they can do something to eradicate the true love that God wants to live in our hearts.

But, even if we may stumble over them and already reigning those kinds, I hope we will always stand for the right thing and for the TRUTH and allow LOVE to keep shining, live, and prevail.

Happy Mother's Month! *Heart*
