There is always a grain of truth in every story. After Jesus' resurrection, he ascended
into Heaven on a cloud. That's what His Apostles state. Now, let us assume that this
actually happened. How far would Jesus rise? Did Jesus leave the planet?
This sounds absurd to modern people, but if the Apostles actually witness this, then
a plausible answer must be found. This is an extraordinary event.
I have an answer from a Fr. Ray Bork, Box 717, Lowell, MA. 01853.
Fr. Bork writes that what the Apostles saw was Jesus entering Heaven
and since the glory of Heaven is beyond human comprehension, they could
only see the cloud and a bright light. Jesus did not rise beyond their view.
This is very similar to a fourth dimensional theory of time travel.
Jesus did not move right or left or higher than a few feet. He moved through time.
If this time travel were possible, then Jesus could reappear in the same spot in
the sky anytime in the future.
I wrote to Pastor Francis X. Veader: GREATER GRACE WORLD OUTREACH,
P.O.BOX 18715, Baltimore, Maryland 21206 about this theory of Time Travel Ascension.
He replied that I was describing the Rapture. This is an event when all the true believers
in Jesus Christ are carried up into Heaven. Heaven, I surmised was not in this dimension.
Dimensional travel is still only science fiction, but it is technically in process.
There are superconducting atomizers at work today. Where the basic structure of the
universe is being studied. Every atom has a pulse. It blinks in and out of existence.
Perhaps, the Rapture is only a super-collider away.
This is logical only if the facts are true.
