Mundane Monday #????
How many Mondays have I lived through? About 521 every 10 years. My mother is over 5,000.

50 cooling degrees at midnight.

Woke up very early, lay back down, now puzzled why I'm awake. *Mug*

38 degrees at 7am.

Not yet 8am and I wrote a poem? What's wrong with me?

I'm supposed to have goals this week? I'm not up to making specific goals. I need to write, enter contests, clean, see friends, get out, every day if possible.

57 degrees at 11:22.

Salisury steak for lunch, a gift from Laxmi. Lovely but a bit chilly in the morning.

64 degrees with *Sun* at 2:16.

A comment to Cubby about her new contest: "I intend to do that [write anopening chapter] this month for the children's story. Will you provide a link or something that describes how to approach the task? I think of great opening lines and a paragraph with a hook with an unresolved 'ending' that makes the reader want to turn the page. First chapters can be a couple pages or 20. So 300-3000 words or more? Word range might be a nice addition throughout the months. Also, what is the difference between a prologue, an intro and a first chapter. A first chapter can start at the end, middle, beginning or long before the beginning. Some guidance may help. Guidelines should be clear unless it doesn't matter and if it doesn't matter that should be clear as well. I'd advise to start broad and occasionally have a more 'restrictive' round. Just mho."

Cubby had a nice response. Advice is cheap; but, sometimes getting feedback while still puttung something together can be helpful. Much better than getting complaints after it's done.

68 warm degrees at 5:23.

I'm boiling up onion flakes and butter. Soon I will add the dry potato mix. Ever since I decided to expand my choice of spices I've been mixing and matching. Being stuck at home makes me get creative. I'm bored.
