"Prompt:What is your favorite promise listed in the Bible? Why?"

My favorite promise from the Bible, aside from eternal life, is "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13.

I find that this promise holds true. I have never encountered a problem that God could not conquer through me. God does it. I am only the conduit. I could no more take credit for it than a piece of wire could take credit for running an electric motor. I play a role but God does the action and gets the glory.

Today we were cruising near a black hole and doing some experiments. Then we cruised into Delta quadrant and met up with the crew of Voyager. Jane Way pointed out a star that some of us knew. Dee writes

about a man in love. What is love to you?

Love to me is a verb. It is not a mushy feeling. It is an action. Love is putting somebody else ahead of myself. The needs of the object of my love become more important than my own selfishness.
