Bible Verses I Want to Remember

Psalms

Reading a psalm takes me back to Sunday School. I started Sunday School at age 4. I walked to the church every week by myself. I loved every story and picture and song about Jesus. It is like I knew him since I was born.

Here are my favorites:


027          Be of good courage.
150          Praise the Lord!
034          I sought the Lord and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears. surgery day
118          This is the day the Lord has made; we shall rejoice and be glad in it. day after surgery
011          In the Lord I put my trust
142          You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.
090          The days of our lives are seventy years...So teach us to number our days. That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
019          Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? (don't swear, backbite w/tongue, no evil to neighbor)
001          His delight is in the Lord! (read this out loud in school back in the 1950s when you could read the Bible)
116          I love the Lord because He has heard my voice and my supplications
146          the Lord shall reign forever...Praise the Lord!
115          trust in the Lord, He is your help and shield
022          My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?
023          For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
037          the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble
106          Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
066          Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing His praise glorious, say to God how awesome are your works
