Wavering Joy
July 11, 2002

Sometimes you just can't help but
be happy, however temporary your joy's fuel.
Tonight we had hangout night for the band.
She (the Corvette) seemed so much more
approachable.
She laughed at my jokes. She
listened to my stories. We even sang some
Blue's Clues songs together (weird, I know).
Of course, she still doesn't like the drumset,
lol.
She didn't act hateful toward me. It's
been a while. Of course, it's not nearly what
we had before. But still. It's like I'm on "okay"
terms with her again. It's something to build
upon. And I'm not gonna let her fondness of
my brother be in the way. Because I don't care
anymore, and it's such a great feeling.
I just hope things continue to get
better. Maybe, by some off-chance, we might
get even a little close to the height of our
friendship. Wishful thinking, but at least I feel
more optimistic now.
         And leaving tonight with
recommended listening: Hero of the Day
by Metallica. That's all!
