Where We've Grown
February 27, 2003

Am I not looking hard enough, or is there no date on milk for when it's supposed to go bad? I see the "Sell By" date, but no "Don't Drink Or You'll Die" date. Maybe they are one and the same. But that would indicate that stores have no moral obligation to sell us milk that's still good. I dunno. Anyways, I had some bad milk with my cereal today, and the "Sell By" date was today. I couldn't find any other date on the carton. Scumbags.
Aside from milk, it's been a pretty typical day. I was going to meet up with some friends to be the first customers at the new Taco Bell being built in our humble town, but it turns out it's gonna be finished on the Thursday of next week. Ah well.
I've received a lot of junk mail in my life, but this is the debut for junk mail written in, yes, Japanese. How do I know it's junk mail? Well, it's unsolicited, comes from a phony account, and it has an abundance of exclamation points.
What else is there to say? I should be working on multiple things right now. The movie for our youth group, the website, and my homework. I am not currently doing any of these things. Perhaps I could get started again. I dunno. Recommended listening: I'll Be by Edwin McCain. Yes, cheesy romantic type muzik. Dunno why, just in the mood. Anyways, goodnight.
