Don't go

My response to the Leading Journal entry by spidey for September 11, 2008.

"Don't go"  until you've said, "I love you!"
to your mother,
sibling,
children,
spouse,
or significant other.

Don't go until you've resolved
any issues with your family
and your frieds
that you've regretted
or has caused any misunderstanding.

Don't go to war
unless you are sure
of your motives
and believe
deep in your soul
that it's your patriotic duty
to serve the country of your birth
or naturalization
out of love
and for no other reason.

Don't go if your gut feeling
tells you not to go.

Don't go until
you've come to terms with your soul,
your God,
and with death itself.
